DHURANDHAR: The Revenge 🔥 (2026)
“Spill so much blood not even a river of tears can wash it away.”
The sequel to last year’s box-office hit DHURANDHAR doesn’t just raise the stakes, it pushes them to the edge.
DHURANDHAR: The Revenge shows no mercy, with relentless action and a ruthless story—a prime example of blockbuster filmmaking at its absolute finest.
Ranveer Singh delivers a commanding dual performance as double agent Hamza Ali Mazari and the son of Punjab—Jaskirat Singh Rangi, a man driven by loyalty, vengeance, and sacrifice. His mission: bring a nation that has terrorized India to its knees.
The story of DHURANDHAR gives a whole new meaning to “if you can’t beat them, join them.” by blurring the line between identity and duty. That long game set up by the Intelligence Bureau in the first film finally pays off. Hamza/Jaskirat evolves into a man with ruthless aggression, calculated force, equal parts precision and chaos, navigating impossible situations with chilling confidence.
That’s where the film truly roars.
Beneath the action is a deeply personal story: a man who gives everything for his country, his people, and most importantly his family—until there’s nothing left of himself. The films finale capture that void with emotional weight, balancing spectacle with heartbreak. While a clean happy ending might have hit hard, and there’s one I really wish we had, the choice to leave it open-ended feels deliberate, ambiguous, and earned. The final act also delivers twist after twist which was equal parts bold, unpredictable, and deeply satisfying. It even redeems one of the series’ most frustrating characters, in a way that makes for an iconic movie moment.
Tonally, this feels like a collision between The Raid and Sicario, blending brutal, tactical violence with high-stakes geopolitical strategy. It plays like the kind of impossible mission Tom Cruise has wet dreams about.
Some viewers will call this film propaganda, and they’re not entirely wrong, especially given the clear connections between government and media industries in India. Others will turn it into talking points. But in all honesty, Hollywood does the same thing with American films, it’s just packaged differently, often framed as patriotism, bias, or familiar villain tropes. DHURANDHAR just doesn’t bother hiding it.
DHURANDHAR sums itself up in three words: Courage. Fuel. Revenge.
At first, the only person I wanted revenge on was myself—for agreeing to a 4-hour, 10-minute movie on a Sunday, but by the end, I was wondering when I last felt this satisfied walking out of a movie.
This one-two punch of films absolutely nails what it means to deliver a worthwhile blockbuster experience.
DHURANDHAR: THE REVENGE is like John Wick with larger-than-life stakes, as its twists and turns build toward a high-impact, riveting conclusion to an epic espionage saga.
Enjoy!
